Scope and Contents
For this book, fifty international companies that most strongly influenced the international type industry were invited to submit their best printed matter and visual materials. The material was selected for inclusion in the book according to the originality of the art work and for the important status that some of the fonts have achieved. The companies among others included Adobe, Bitstream, FontShop International, Emigre, Linotype, and U&lc. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
